Lodge at Koele, Island of Lanai
The Lodge at
Koele is in the Upcountry (highlands) area near the center of the Island of
Lanai. It's at 1 Keomoku Highway, phone (808) 565-4000.
It is a Four Seasons hotel.
Lodge at Koele has 102 rooms, furnished in the style of upcountry
elegance. The views are of gardens, woods, or reflecting pond.
On the property are an orchid house, pagoda, riding stables and an old
Hawaiian church. Each room has a private lanai (balcony or porch).
There is not a spa at the hotel, but massages are available in your room
or in a room of the fitness center.
The main restaurant for dinner at the Lodge at Koele is called the Dining
Room. It is a 60-seat very elegant (and expensive) formal restaurant
with fabulous food. A casual breakfast, lunch or dinner, is available
in the 75-seat Terrace restaurant, where the food is also wonderful.
Lunch and mid-day snacks are also available at the Experience at Koele
Clubhouse.
If you want quiet pampering luxury, and don't mind being several miles
from the beach, then the Lodge at Koele is a great place to stay.
